      Adding Contacts to Groups


      How do I customize the script of add contacts to include my own fields to sort by and filter. For example create a group of all people in a certain city without having to go through entire list and finding them? Right now I have the headers of Name, Company, and Title. How do I customize this script??

          Thank you for your post.


          It sounds like someone created a script for you.  Pull down the Scripts menu and select "Manage Scripts...".  This will bring up a listing of all the scripts in that file.  Double-click "add contacts" to edit the script.  Change the fields and sort order to your liking.  When finished, close the script and FileMaker Pro will prompt you to save the changes.
