Is it difficult to use just one especially if there is the Same Name in both from time to time or better to separate it?
But wouldn't the whole point to combining the addresses in one table be to eliminate having the same contact info for a given contact entered more than once?
If you have the same address entered in both tables, a change of address for that contact would require finding and making identical updates to both copies of this info--the very thing that relational databases are designed to prevent.
Anyway to update it easily? I am having a hard time doing so. I can not get the Client ID into a Foreign Key even though I have enabled it to write. Do I have to create a new portal or change the reference of the one I am using?
How do they then match up? Sorry I am confused
Since you re-posted I answered there: Question on How to have 2 tables share a common Address
I suggest responding to that post with what you tried to do to get the ID field from addresses into your foreign key field.
