Company & ¶ & address line 1 & ¶ & If ( Not Isempty ( address line2 ) ; address line2 & ¶ ; "" ) & City & ", " & State & " " & zip
List ( company ; address line 1 ; address line2 ; city ; state ; zip )
Elegant, but it doesn't leave city, state, zip on the same line as requested.
List ( Company; Address Line 1 ; Address line 2 ; City & ", " & State & " " & zip )
Thank you for your suggestions. I used Phil's calculation.
I try to figure the calculations out on my own by finding the commands. However, this part elludes me.
If ( Not Isempty ( address line2 ) ; address line2 & ¶ ; "" )
I found the If, Not, Isempty commands but did not uderstand the ; AddressLine2 & ¶ ; "" )
It's the semicolon and repeat of AddressLine2 followed by the quotation marks near the end.
Thanks for your help and advice as always.
The second mention of address line 2 indicates that if the test is true (address line 2 is NOT Empty), the contents of the field address line 2 are entered followed by a carriage return. The "" (nothing) is the result should the test prove false.
