I'm afraid that you'll need to provide a more complete description of what you want.
i have more name project..every one enter to split record that have date and cost for example..so when i do that i cnt do new record in this second part to enter new data..or to see data for it "if enterd in the past"..thx to read it my dear and help me plz
I still have a very incomplete understanding of what you want. Did you click and read the link in my last post?
Here's what I am guessing that you have/want:
You need to record data about a series of "projects". You need to make multiple entries for each project to record costing data, but each with a different date.
If this is correct, you need at least two tables: Projects and CostData. You can link them in a relationship like this:
Projects-----<CostData (----< stands for a "one to many" relationship)
Projects::__pkProjectID = CostData::_fkProjectID
__pkProjectID should be defined as an auto-entered serial number.
_fkProjectID should be defined as a number field.
You can use Manage | Database to create the needed tables, fields and relationships. Once you have done so, you can go to the Relationships tab and doubleclick the line between Projects and CostData to open a dialog box where you can specify relationship details. Select "allow creation of records via this relationship for the CostData table.
Now you can go to your Projects layout and add a portal to CostData. You can then make multiple cost data entries in this portal for a single Project record.
It is very likely that I have used a lot of terms you won't understand. Please look them up in fileMaker help and/or any training materials you have and if you still don't understand, feel free to post follow up questions here.
