Filemaker 10, Windows Vista,
Need DB to include
Client data (name, email address, physical address, reference to what they've purchased, amount spent, notes, whether they're subscribed to receive email updates)
Orders (Order amounts, location of order (on field or local), line items, amount, date, etc.)
Inventory (Item availability, discontinued, a picture, variations on size, etc.)
No experience with Filemaker - I've done about 6 hours of tutorial on lynda.com
This is not a shared database
Okay, so I'm trying to get multiple existing (filemaker) tables into one filemaker database. They already have pre-existing layouts that I'd like to keep available. How do I do this? Do I have to buy the Filemaker advanced?
You don't have to buy FMP advanced, but you'd find its database design report and script debugger tool very helpful during this process.
