Are Filemaker and Bento somehow compatible?

      Post

I made a large database in Filemaker and am using Bento now because I want to be able to use my database on my iPhone. Is it possible to convert my made database into a Bento/iPhone version?

          Thank you for your post.

To get your information from FileMaker Pro into Bento 2.0v4, you will need to export the data to a CSV, TSV or Excel format.  I would suggest using the "Merge" option, since this is a CSV file with the field names exported as the first record.  In Bento 2.0v4, you can import this information into a new Library or an existing Library, where you can match up the fields of the first record to the fields in the Library.  Once the data is imported into Bento 2.0v4, you can then sync the data using Bento for iPhone.

If you need clarification for any of the above steps, please let me know.
