Argg...how to copy contents of a table onto a tab

      Post

I am trying to duplicate the contents of the default tab (found on the default inventory spread sheet when you select from the file menu "new data base" using the "starter solution" for an invoice) and paste then onto a new blank tab which I have created.  I can cut and paste fields from one to another but I can not get the picture box along with "insert picture" and "export picture" buttons.  Is there any way I can copy everything over so I can create may tabs with all the same layout?

      thanks

It sounds like these are container fields and you want to copy the image stored in the container to your new layout.

You need a field defined in your layout's table of type Container.

The "picture box" sounds like a field object and you've pasted it on your new layout. Double click it and select the field you just defined.

Now, in browse mode, click on the container field in the original layout and choose Edit | Copy.

Switch to your new layout, click on the container field you have pasted and choose Edit | Paste.
