I'm not familiar with filemaker very much but am now in a position which requires me to deal with issues related to it when they arrise.
FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced / FMS11
Currently there's a problem with one of the databases where we need to make modifications, such as enabling IWP, however nobody can authenticate to that database in order to make changes.
I've downloaded a local copy of the database from our file maker server.
When I go to File > File Options > Open/Close, a dialogue box pops up that says "Your access privileges do not allow you to perform this action". As you can imagine I can't use "Edit Layout" either in order to modify the security options of the file.
We know the login credentials that are required in order to modify the database but can't seem to be able to find a method that will allow us to use those credentials. It's logging in automatically as an unprivilaged account.
Can someone tell me what I can do to change the login account used to accses the file?
