I have recently set up Filemaker Pro at work and have enjoyed it very much. Our trial version is ending in the next couple of days and we are dead set on purchasing the software. The only thing that has slowed our process of continuing with the purchase is the ability to have records automatically sorted when a database is opened. I have no complaints here, but one of the employees who has a say in the purchase of the product is bit too maticulous.
I understand the sort function, but what we are wanting is to have a database automatically sort all the records when the database is opened. The problem that we are having is that if the database is closed and then reopened it does not remember how it was sorted.
