      Automatic Indentations on a string

      Post

      Hi again,

I would like to know how to make the string do an automatic indentation at the end of the space available. One indentation in the beginning isn't enough.

      For example:

      "Luigi's Speciale:     " & PizzaDescription

isn't gonna make it proper like this:

Mario's Speciale:       Best Pizza in |

      the world                                              |

Is there a way to make the PizzaDescription string hug the right side of the space, such as bulleted lists?

Mario's Speciale:       Best Pizza in |

                                              the world       |

      Luigi's Capricciosa:    Second best  |

                                              a pizza          |

Use Char ( 9 ) to put a tab character between text constant and field like this:

          "Luigi's Speciale:     " & Char ( 9 ) & PizzaDescription

Then, on the Inspector's Appearance tab in the tabs section, set a right justified tab stop where needed to get the correct alignment for "Best Pizza in". Then use the paragraph section to set an "indent" that matches this tab stop. Final step is to set a "first line" indent the same as the indent but as a negative value.
