Why would you want this to happen?
Is it some end user interface happenstance?
Is it a prompt to force user to be aware of the next interaction?
There are a few ways I would like to use this, I want to be able to at a glance while flicking through records know that an action has happened. For instance if I had and invoicing system and wanted to know if items are overdue, paid or not paid they could could have different colors. So at a quick glance a red will be not paid or over due.
This isn't the application but it does explain, I hope it does. I realize there are other ways this could be done but for what I have in mind it would be great if the background color could change.
Using the text tool, on your layout add a space.
Then resize this text area to your complete background size, using resize anchors where required.
Send it to the back of your layout.
You can then use conditional formatting on this text area to check and apply a fill colour based on values from the fields.
If your using windows, you may end up with some flicker effects though....
The same goes for your list views, make the text area the size of the 'body' part
