YOu should be able to export records to a tab or other text file and use the "group by" option to get one row of text for each sub summary row in your report.
Thanks but it doesn't look like the print Preview, nor include the summaries of my found set. It's frustrating that a report from FileMaker Pro cannot be exported just as you see it in any format required. I have resorted to AppleScripting a report before to get the exact data I need in text and in the precise layout required.
I'll wing it AppleScript.
There are quite a few PDF to Text and PDF to Word converters ($) and at least one on-line that is free. Don't know how well they work…but may be worth a try.
There is also the option to export xml to text for the report if you are familiar with xslt.
It won't look like your preview, far from it, but you should be able to get the summary values exported for each group. You might experiment with setting this up as a merge export that you then access with MS Word--with Word providing the needed formatting of the imported data. Haven't done that in years, but as far as I know FileMaker and Word can still do this.
