Calculating total quantities using portal fields with a related qty field outside the portal

### Post

First of all I hope 2015 brings prosperity and wellness for all of you . My quick question: I have a table with a quantity field, I want to multiply this field data by each of the quantities shown in the portal and the result shown as a total on each portal row. I am not sure where I am failing, I´ve used the Extended function but the result is the same in all portal rows. I will appreciate anyone´s help.

You need to multiply the quantity field time the amount field based on the portals table occurrence.  qty*tableoccurrence::amount

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to guide me. I did that, but it  only multiplies "qty" by  the first portal row amount as you can see on the screen pic I attached (17*0,75=1.275). How can I multiply that "17" quantity by each decimal amount on the portal row. And the resulting field should be part of the related portal TO or part of the main table (where the "qty" field is)? I´ve tried showing the resulting field from both TO without success.

Your calculation field total would be qty*amount then you put this calculation field in your portal based on the table occurance tableoccurrence::total

To S Chamblee: Hello, I decided to have the report table show the last date report by deleting all records before doing the last report, that way I won´t  have the problem I was having. I won´t have a history of reports, but the decision solves my most pressing needs. I thank you again, sir, for your time and willingness.
