Calculating using summary fields

Post

Hi, I'm using Filemaker Pro 11 on OSX 10.5.8.

I have created a report that uses subsummaries and a grand summary.

Each record is for a 'File'.  In each record, I calculate whether a file was closed between two given dates (these are variables), and whether a file that was closed between the two dates was closed within 12 months of having been opened.

I then have summaries of how many files were closed between the variable dates, and how many of the files closed between the two dates were closed within 12 months of having been opened.

I now want to create a field to express what percentage of the files that were closed between the two dates were closed within 12 months of having been opened.  In other words, I want Field 3 = Field 2 / Field 1 * 100.

However, if I create a summary field, there is no option to define it by a calculation.  If I create a normal calculation field and attempt to place it in the summary part of the layout it gets confused and just references the first record.  Is there any way to do a calculation using summary fields?
