Calculation Help

I only want the caculation to work below if the field CLOSING_DATE is not empty

How can I work that into the calculation?

If (DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid   > amount_goal ;((DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid - amount_goal)+DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rn_paid)* percentage_fed_award ;(DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rn_paid+prime_amount_paid_dbe)*percentage_fed_award)

• ###### 1. Re: Calculation Help

If ( ( DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid   > amount_goal ) and Not IsEmpty ( CLOSING_DATE ) ; //put your calc here )

• ###### 2. Re: Calculation Help

Case(
not IsEmpty ( CLOSING_DATE ) ;
percentage_fed_award *
Case (
DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid > amount_goal ;
DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rn_paid + DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid - amount_goal ;
DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rn_paid + prime_amount_paid_dbe
)
)

I stand corrected. (Missed the semi colon there and thought there was only one expression, not two.)

• ###### 4. Re: Calculation Help

So who is correct?

• ###### 5. Re: Calculation Help

If I "stand corrected", then it can't be me.  Therefore give Raybaudi's suggested calc a try.

• ###### 6. Re: Calculation Help

You could try even this:

Let([
a = not IsEmpty ( CLOSING_DATE ) ;
b = percentage_fed_award ;
c = DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rn_paid ;
d = DBE_PORTAL_LINES::sum_rc_paid - amount_goal ;
e = prime_amount_paid_dbe
];
a * b * c * If ( d > 0 ; d ; e )
)
