Max ( YourcalculationGoesHere ; 1200 )
Thanks! I used the Max for 1500 and 1200. But if there is no data to calculate it leaves 1500 and 1200 in the field. I do not want it to show unless the calculations are done. Any way to fix that?
Put the whole thing inside an If or case function that uses IsEmpty to avoid calculating a value if the referenced fields are empty. (Normally, you can just keep the "do not evaluate if all referenced fields are empty" check box selected, but if memory serves, there's a bug that keeps min/max functions from returning null in such cases.)
Not sure what I am doing wrong. Trying it this way but not working...
Case ( IsEmpty ( Max ( Case ( ActivityLevelPossibleDelete = "Sedentary" ;(1.2 * BMRCalculator) - 500;
ActivityLevelPossibleDelete = "Lightly Active (1-3 days/week)";(1.375 * BMRCalculator) - 500;
ActivityLevelPossibleDelete = "Moderate (3-5 days/week)" ;(1.55 * BMRCalculator) - 500;
ActivityLevelPossibleDelete = "Very Active (6-7 days a week)" ;(1.725 * BMRCalculator)-500) ; 1200 )
You Only want to put inside the IsEmpty function, a field or group of fields that you want to check for missing data and not calculate anything if they are empty.
Case ( Not IsEmpty ( ActivityLevlePossibleDelete ) ; Max ( rest of your calculation goes here ) )
