Can 'Send Mail' script auto attach a PDF of a record?
I am trying to put into the ONE script a series of commands like this.
Get the e-mail address of the client in this record,
Create a PDF of the record,
paste the e-mail recipeint's address into to 'TO' field
Add any comments to the e-mail
Attach the created PDF document.
All in the one script.
Here's what I can do:
I can attach a PDF of a record to a Blank e-mail. But the 'TO' field in Mail is not automatically filled in. Nor are other fields.
I can use 'Send Mail' and automatically fill in the 'TO' field the 'Subject' field and the 'Comments' field. But cannot automatically attach a PDF of a record in the process.
Here's my problem.
I cannot combine the features in the 'Send Mail' script with an ability to automatically attach a PDF of a record. (I don't wish to send records to multiple recipients) The 'Attach file' in the Send Mail script makes the user go looking around his system to find a file that may have been previously created. But the file I want is simply a PDF of a record within my DataBase.
It's frustrating because I know my request is simple and I know the program must be capable of doing it. Sorry I'm so thick.
