Can I run FM Pro 11 in the background

I am writing an application that uses a local database hosted by FM Pro 11.  Periodically the application synchronizes some of the changes with a FM Server Advanced database at an off site location.

Is there a way to have FM Pro 11 run in the background and not be visiable ( I want it to minimize to system tray at start up)?  I don't want the users of the local system to mess with FM Pro 11 (system tray is fine). I need the local database for performance and reliability reasons.

I am using FM Pro 11 on a Windows 7 PC.
