Can you give us a little more to go on? Perhaps a sample of the solution to look at?
When you open a remote file in filemaker, you have the option of adding a favorite host or selecting from a local host. When I add a new favorite remote host, or try to view a local host's databases, the database list appears blank.
On the rest of my machines, when i add the new favorite host or try to view the local hosts list of databases, i am able to see this list.
Let me know you still need a sample and i can get you a screen shot.
Remote Hosts can mean a computer is trying to see another computer hosting the files that is on a different network (router)
Are all your computers on the same network? If not you will have to set portforwarding on your local router to allow access.
All of my computers are on the same subnet, yes. Going to see if maybe my install file is corrupt... but i'm pretty sure that's not the culprit.
this issue was resolved by installing a patch for SSL "fmp_9.0_SSL_win_updater" hosted here on the filemaker site.
