CASE FUNCTION TO RANGE THE NUMBERS

      Post

I believe the "CASE" function is the way I want to go?

I have one column titled "numtotal" with each record number ranging from 0 through 27.

I have another column titled "range".

Both columns are setup as "numbers".

What I'm wanting to do is:

If the number in "numtotal" is 6 or less text will be displayed as "LOW" in the "range" column, if the number is 16 or more text will be displayed as "HIGH", if a number falls within the range of 7 through 15 the displayed would read "BULLSEYE".

      EXAMPLE:

      numtotal range

      5 LOW

      22 HIGH

      12 BULLSEYE

      9 BULLSEYE

      2 LOW

      16 HIGH

I've spent hours trying to figure this out and looking for examples with no luck.  Help.
