Guessing here: its the ascii number of the particular number: a = 92, b = 93 or thereabouts. You'll have to find an ascii chart for the actual numbers. Or you could do something like ( I don't knnow Java ) VARCHAR ( CHARVAR( "A" ) ) if such a thing can be done.
I am very happy your can give me a hand . There do not have any relation between Java and SQL . If java execute the sql failed ,
any other language can not execute success . So the problem may be the filemaker or the sql !
First i had a picture stored in Filemaker use container type .The i just want to get the infomation of the picture I had stord before .
I read the Filemaker help document ,page 41 ,get the sql model , then i tested , got the error !
In case you still have resolved this, I have recently come across with this and noted the NNN stand for number fo characters.
Put it 50 or 100 and have a go. It should look something like CAST(Company_Brochures AS VARCHAR(50)). You will get the information of the container file in text format.
Hope this help.
