Select the field and then select conditional formatting and click ADD. Change it to 'formula' and it should be: Self = "Yes" and then down below, change the text to bold. Conditional formatting is probably the COOLEST thing FileMaker has come out with since relationships. :smileyhappy:
Ooops! If ANOTHER field equals 'yes.' You can't use Self then.
Just create a conditonal format on the second field using a calculation fomula such as:
Field1 = "Yes"
Change the format to bold and whatever color
okay that sounds easy enough. However I probably should have mentioned that I use FMP7. So I don't think it will work 7.
Okay then you cant use conditional formatting but you can use an auto-entry with calculated value ( Do not replace unchecked ).
Case ( Field1 = "Yes" ;
TextColor ( TextStyleAdd ( Field2 ; Bold ) ; RGB ( 255 ; 0 ; 0 ) );
TextColorRemove ( TextStyleRemove ( Field2 ; Bold ) )
)<!-- SEARCH --><!-- POLLS --><!-- FILES --><!-- SIGNATURE -->
That works great!
Thank you so much
