There's a User Interface Language setting in Preferences.
You can find this setting only on Windows.
On Mac OS X the language used by filemaker is the one of the operating system.
Before snow Leopard you could get info on a single application and choose the desired language, like here: http://redcocoon.org/cab/mysoft.html#anchor1b
But now this feature has been dropped from snow leopard.
There is another way to use FMP in english on an italian Mac OS X snow leopard?
i found a software that let you choose the language you want to use for each application under snow loepard
This solves the problem
Thank You! Very useful!
The Language Switcher is great!
You can also change the default OS X language without the switcher.
In the Finder, choose Apple>System Preferences…>Language & Text. Just drag either English or Italiano to the top of the list. Then open FileMaker.
If you do not log out or restart the Mac, your Finder menus will remain in Italian while the FileMaker menus appear in English.
Language could be changed in both these ways even on FM Pro 11 but the problem arises when you want to use the "filemaker pro help": it will send an error saying "The operation couldn't be completed. (HVURLHandlerErrorDomain error 1002)" .
Does anybody know if it is possible to change application language and have a working help file too?
I have the same problem with the French version, not being able to use the help files, Can somebody help on finding where we can add French resources to use the Help?
