    Changing color of a field

      Changing color of a field

Hell all!  I'm what they call a "switcher".  I recently switched from PC to Mac and I have to say, I LOVE IT!  I'm equally new to FileMaker Pro.

I've been building a data base for a couple of weeks now, and a lot of the posts on this forum have helped through the road blocks.  I haven't been able to find a solution to what seems like an easy function.

I'd like to have a calculation field that changes colors from red to green when the sum of other fields equal a target number.  Here's the foil...the target number is not a static number, it will change frequently. So I need to reference a field.

Is this something that is done in conditional formatting or by a script?

Thanks in advance for your help.  I hope I explained myself clearly enough.
