Closing windows in a runtime application
Hi All, Can someone tell this newbie how to close a window in a runtime application. The red X is not available and I don't know why! Thanks!!
This might be the solution since the window I need to be able to close is a print preview of a form that is being create, hence the window is in Preview mode and placing a button in the layout won't work.
Thanks! I give your suggestion a try.
Everyone's ideas were great. Here's what I ended up doing.
From the script that opened the the original "Form Preview" window, I added a Perform Script step that ran a new script to open another small window that contained a menu of choices to be performed on the "Form Preview" window. The choices include print, cancel, and a few other formatting tools. The catch was to include a Window Refresh in the first script or else the form didn't show, and then to force the choice window to Browse Mode. The "choice buttons" run scripts to perform their intended tasks.
