Have a look at Clip Manager by myFMbutler: http://www.myfmbutler.com/index.lasso?p=422 allows for copying and storing of various elements of a FileMaker database, including Custom Functions. MIght be worth a look
Also a great tool to have is CFExplorer by First Contact Solutions: http://www.firstcontactsolutions.co.uk/CFExplorer.aspx this allows you to test Custom Functions without having to set them up in a file and also imports from Brian Dunning's site. A must have in my opinion.
Also see http://starrdata.com/CaptureCF.htm
still a little copy and paste , with some automation added.
Automatically downloads new functions from Brian Dunning's site.
Working on revision 2 which will include functions from FileMakerCustomFunctions.com
To be released soon. Oh did I mention it is Free!
This system comes with a how to do PDF. Some cool features are the auto downloads,
a table to store your functions, ability to email functions to a friend. Favorites list.
Range list search. A filtered list and more.
Thanks for the link. It seems that FM does NOT have a built in ability to reference custom functions in a different table? Or, am I missing something?
Not yet... My biggest wish is for them to make custom finctions relational. :smileyvery-happy:
Thanks. Now I can quit trying to figure out how to make it happen.... :smileyvery-happy:
