      Conditional Button

Is it possible with FileMaker to have what I'm calling a "conditional button", basically based on a variable(Field/Script variable) Show or Hide a button on a layout?

It's easier to simply change the button's text color to make it look "disabled", but if you placed the button in a portal, you could play games with the record's relationship to the portal to make it appear and disappear. (If there are no related records, the portal will be empty and thus the button disappears.)

Yea I've previously used a tab with "tabs" that have no width then played with variable to show what tab I want. One tab had the button on it, the other tab was empty. I just was wondering if there was a easier way of doing such a thing. I think I might take your suggestion and just use conditional formatting to change the text to make it look disabled. Thanks again, your a big help!
