      Conditional Formatting - help

      Post

           Hi there,

           I am using FMP13 Advanced Mac. I have a database and I want the field to change colour when there is data in a certain field. I can get it to work without data, but I am not sure what command I use with data.

           So i currently have IsEmpty ( test::total2 )  then it changes colour. I am using the Formula is command, as I have the conditional formatting not on the same field.

           So I just need to know what the command is when there is data?

           Thanks very much.

               Not IsEmpty ( test::total2 )

               But if you specify a color for:

               IsEmpty ( test::total2 )

               Then the color you specify in the inspector while in layout mode will be the color for when the field is not empty, there is no need to add a second conditional format expression.
