Conditional Formatting for Printing
Is there any way to change the formatting of something when it is being printed? For example if I had text that I wanted to appear black in the database, but red in the printout, is there any way to do this with conditional formatting? I know that I could put two fields in one place and then format the one that is in back the way I want it to be formatted when it prints, and then I could select to hide the one on top when printing, but layering fields strikes me as a messy solution.
This question is mostly out of curiosity, though I would like to format a drop down menu to show its border and arrow in the database, but not when it prints out.
Conditional formatting cannot change the border of a field. It'd be a nice new feature to add, but not something we can do with the current version.
For those formats that you can control with conditional formatting:
Get ( WindowMode ) = 3
Will be true if "printing is in progress".
