I'm reading about this simple version example:
In my case I turned it into a new field in the same table named 'Administration workers':
If (Worker department = "Admimistration"; Worker name ; ""). But now when I try to use the 'administration workers' as a value list, then it shows a '?' in my list.
Ah, fixed: calculation field was returning number in stead of text.
I call that approach a "hard wired" conditional value list as the user can't select the category that controls what values appear.
