Is your container field in the same table as Calorie_Days?
Do you have a relationship linking your layout's table (where you have your conditional value list field defined) to either calorie days or to the table where this container field is defined? What match fields did you define?
Here's how I would set this up from the information that you have provided:
LayoutTable::Calories = CaloriesDaysTable::Calories
LayoutTable::CaloriesDays = CaloriesDaysTable|Selected::CaloriesDays
Your conditional value list would show values from CaloriesDaysTable, Include only related values starting from LayoutTable.
LayoutTable::caloriesDays would be formatted to use this conditional value list.
But your container field would be added from CaloriesDaysTable|Selected, a second Tutorial: What are Table Occurrences? of your CaloriesDaysTable that matches records by the specific value entered when a value is selected from your conditional value list.

Thank you! Your info helped and so did the demo!!
Got it working! But there is only one issue. I want the drop downs and container fields to be in my layout with my Tab Control. But when I put the fields in there I get "Unrelated Table" errors. How can I get it working in my Tab Control layout?
Figured out what I needed to do :)
