      Consolidating Data for Export

      Post

I would like to consolidate some sales data for import as a formatted text field.

The data is quite large and is over 120,000 lines. Attached is a sample from a spreadsheet.

Is it possible to consolidate the attached data into 2 fields. The first field contains the client code, and the second contains consolidated data for each client code including headers, in a format that essentially is a text field but looks like a spreadsheet with headers.

Some client codes will have only one line of data to consolidate, and others may have up to 10,000.

There is no attachment, Frank.  It is best to upload your example somewhere and provide a link to it here; this forum doesn't allow attachments.  You can register free at sites such as 4shared.com to handle it.

No, a database isn't a spreadsheet nor a Word document.  You can create html document and you can create style sheets but that is quite intensive.  Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish and maybe we can come up with other approaches to achieve it.
