Copy all records from a Table to an Archive Table

      Post

I am looking for an easy way to take all of the records from one Table and pasting them into an Archive Table in a script.  I see the COPY All record request but I am not seeing how to PASTE them All into the Archive Table.  I looked through the forum, and it talks about import, but not Table to Table copying.   What simple thing am I over looking?

And just to keep things lively, is there a way to do this while adding a DATETIME Stamp to the Archived record so that I can know when the record was put in the Archive Table?

Use Import Records to import the records from the one table to the other. This script step can be used even when both tables are in the same file. If you enable auto-enter options during import, a timestamp field can update to show the current date/time on creation or on modification. A script can also import the records and then use Replace Field Contents to assign the current timestamp to a timestamp field of every newly imported record.
