The Script step Set Field can copy the contents of one field to another field, such as:
Set field [Invoices::ShippingTitle ; Invoices::BillingTitle ]
Create one script step for each pair of fields, Use your table occurrence and field names in place of mine.
Instead of a check box field, it would be simpler to add a button to your layout that performs this script, but if you set it up as a check box field, you can use the OnObjectModify script trigger on it to perform this script.
That is excellent thank you. I currently import orders into all of the fields so most of the time the fields are both completed from the ODBC selection however sometimes we want to do manual orders. Do you know if the above Set Field would overwrite the imported data or does it depend on how the script is set up?
It would overwrite existing data. If you don't want that to happen, use If steps with the IsEmpty function to check for data before doing the set field step(s).
