Creating a checkbox to populate field - use radio button?
I would like my users to be able to "highlight" particular records they create. The best way I have figured this out is for each record (called an observation) to have a "highlight" column in the table that can either be "0" for "no" and "1" for "yes". However, translating this to a user-friendly layout is challenging me. I figured I should be able to use a radio button that essentially acts like a checkbox, but I don't see how to have an "on/off" button that either plugs in a 0 or 1 in the table. Right now I have the radio button values coming from a custom list with the values "0" and "1", which results in the layout I have attached. I would like it to simply say "Yes" and be either filled in or left empty as default. When it is empty it should fill in the table value with 0, and if filled should fill it in with 1. Is this possible?
