Creating a report with specific criteria (with a performed find)
I am doing a car dealership database for a school project. I am trying to create a report that shows the categories of cars that were sold to clients under the age of 25.
1) Whenever i create a script that finds all the clients under the age of 25, for some reason it gets rid of the grouping field. As in it gets rid of the line that has the title of each category that groups the sales together, and instead just shows them all in one line, without grouping them into each category.
2) How would you create a find or a calculation that shows the clients who's date of birth is greater than the current date minus 25 years. E.g. Clients::DOB > (Curdate - 25 years). But i can't seem to get this to work.
Anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated
A find produces an unsorted found set. Any grouping created by sorting will be lost and any sub summary layout parts will disappear. But you can simply sort your records again--which can be the next step in your script, to return them into properly sorted groups.
