You cannot and should not create such a group of fields.
Sounds like you have a many to many relations and need a join table linking operators to protocol to facilitate the relationship.
Thanks I saw that in Lyda.com and forgot about it, I'll go back and review. It takes more than reading and viewing a video, we have to practice it a few times the way pilots train in simulators.
Regarding the Many to many relationship between the Protocol and AnalysisAndFinding tables, they work exactly as I wanted it to do. The AnalysisAndFinding table is for recording summary comments on groups of records. As long as a record has a common Heading 1 (H1) the auditor can make comments for that section of records. I think it is one thing I did right. I agree that it is something you should not normally see in a database but it works in this instance.
