Creepy...  Scary....  When attached files are named the same!

     Students apply to camp using an application form on our website that assigns a unique submission number.   When the student applies, they upload an essay (usually .doc or .pdf format) and submit it with the application.  Once a week we import the data from the website into filemaker, then drag and drop the essay into a container field.  

     Using the storage container that is relative to the host location of the database, these essays and applications are stored with the filemaker application so that multiple users can retrieve and read the applications with the associated essay.  

     We are running into a problem when two students submit an essay with the same file name (for example, my_essay.doc").  Is there any way we can "rename" the file and append the students unique submission number so that each essay has a unique file name?  

     Gee, I hope this makes sense!   :)  

     I appreciate all assistance and suggestions.
