At the moment I am using Bento as a simple data base to keep track of bookings that we take. I own a DJ hire company but would like to move to the next level.
Can I use FMP in some way to allow clients to have there own online form/page to fill in there details, return at anytime to add say requests etc and it all automatically update the data base?
I would also like the DJs to be able to login and see the bookings so they can see what gigs are assigned to them.
as I am sure your can tell I am not a wiz at websites etc so have no coding experience etc so it needs to be simple.

This can be done with filemaker. There are a few caldaren apps that can get you started but you may have to hirer a professional to design the app more to your needs. FMStarting Point and SeedCode are a couple of companies that have some free starter apps. Filemaker has a starter event management app. You can download a trail of FM from here:
