Database Design Report -- showing calculation links
I've generated a database design report and want to see all the objects that are related to a specific field. I can see what layouts, relationship, scripts, and value lists reference a given field. But what I want to see is what other calculated fields (in any table) reference that field. I could just to a text search for the field name through the whole HTML file, but I'm wondering whether I am missing something--seems like the feature I'm wanting is an obvious one to include.
It's not a part of the standard database design report, but some third parties offer a solution that imports the xml form of a DDR in order to analyze and display results from that data to better help you understand your database design. One of those third party providers might offer this feature if you want to purchase their design analysis tool.
