If a few hundred MB is an economical problem, they are overcharging. Renegotiate your deal or change provider.
From a technical point of view its intresting how text can expand the database so much. search your tables for records added within the time for large amount of created records, or check tables with container fields for new records. I guess a repair can't be bad to run either.
I deleted the pictures in the container fields. I completely forgot that I left the pictures in there. Database is now the smallest it has been for about two years! Thanks.
