I would like to find records based on a date range (ie) all records from 4/12 to 4/15
You Just have to use spaces between your search fields
in your example above you would just use the following in the date field in find mode
>4/12/yyyy < 4/15/yyyy
or if its to include those dates use ≤
"I would like to find records based on a date range (ie) all records from 4/12 to 4/15"
This really isn't enough information to assist. Would this be in a script, manually? Would you want global fields so a User can specify the range?
You can specify search as:
Which will find records for the current year or:
You can also specify a range as:
4/12..4/15 (for current year
I ask whether this is to be scripted because the best solution (and calculation) would depend upon more information but I hope this helps.
NOTE: You can use .. or ... between ranges; both are valid. However, if you are searching for decimal numbers, you must use ... otherwise FM can produce seemingly inconsistent results.
