Design of database

Title

Design of database

Post

All, I am new to the database design. If anyone could tell me if I am on the right track and offer me any help I would appreciate it.

Currently I have two databases I am designing and they are getting more and more complicated as the days progress. I have one database for Devices being constructed and then one for Training. My boss now wants to be able to use our bar code scanner to keep track of the number of devices we have in stock (we have three barcode scanners in case we need to use more than one) and he also wants to be able to keep track of the devices used in the training course. I have not  figured out how to implement this into my database. So far here is what I have for the design. Any help is appreciated. I dont know if you can read the below images and am not sure as to how to link a file. I will try to explain in detail what they are. The frist is my Device database and I have the following tables in there:

VendorTbl

Vendor_ContainersTbl2

ContainersTbl

Container_DeviceTbl

DeviceTbl

Device_EmployeeTbl

EmployeeTbl

LaborCategoryTbl

ComponentsTbl

Components_DeviceTbl

Vendor_ComponentsTbl

VendorTbl

The second image is of the relationships for the Training Database:

CourseTbl

Employee_CourseTbl

EmployeeTbl

Course_TraineeTbl

Device_CourseTbl

Device_Tbl (from the other database)

TraineeTbl

Team_TraineeTbl

TeamTbl

OrganizationTbl

ContractsTbl

METL_CourseTbl

METLTaskTbl

LaborCategoryTbl
