Dialog Box Default button does not work

      Post

I am using FMP 10 in tiger. I have a script that brings up a simple dialog box that features a field, an OK button (in default position) and a cancel button. The default button does not work. The dialog box does not close when you press the OK button. The dialog box does close when you press the cancel button. I have even deleted the entire script step and rebuilt everything and it still doesn't work. Every other step in the script works as designed...

I assume that I have a damaged script. Does that mean that I will have to recover and/or rebuild the entire script?

          Thank you for your post.

Without seeing your file, it is difficult to determine if the script is damaged.  If you think this dialog box is functioning improperly, try creating a new script with only that dialog box.  Then, from your main script, replace the dialog box script step with "Perform Script" that calls the new script.  If that works, then try incorporating that step back into the main script.
