Title

dismissing import file dialog on importing scans

Post

I have a scanner that automatically saves the scans on F:\database\scans. The filename of the scans is as follows:

SCAN.pdf
SCAN_0001.pdf
SCAN_0002.pdf
etc.

I have made a script that first imports SCAN.pdf, and then SCAN_0001.pdf, and then SCAN_0002.pdf... et cetera.

The script works perfectly. The only caveat is the screen that pops up at the end. I have no way to check whether a file really exists, so at some point I hit a file that doesn't exist. FileMaker then pops up a dialog "import file" because it cannot find the file and asks the user to select a file to import.

Is there a way to dismiss this dialog box?
