You need to record this data in a related table instead of in two pairs of fields in the student table.
Create a related table with four fields, _fkStudentID, InOrg, Org ; Date
Link it to your existing table of students like this:
Students::__pkStudentID = Experiments::_fkStudentID
Put a 2 row portal to Experiments on your students layout with InOrg and Org in the portal row. Enable "allow creation of records via this relationship" for Experiments in this relationship.
With that data model in place, you can set up a summary field to count how many times a particular experiment has been performed. You can show this count with a Creating Filemaker Pro summary reports--Tutorial layout based on Experiments. To see the counts for a specific day or group of days, perform a find specifying that date or range of dates.
