Filemaker is a 32bit application, but that doesn't stop it from being officially supported on a 64bit platform.
A friend of mine asked me about this because he runs his business on a FMP app created by a popular developer. He was thinking of buyng a notebook with Win 7 64-bit installed on it and asked me about this. I told him to talk to the developer he works with. The response he got was this:

Filemaker's official stance seems to be that they do not support x64 since they do not test under that environment.
That seems to have been updated to include FM11.
Personally, I have run Filemaker on Vista X64 since vista was released pretty much.
I have also run on Windows 7 X64 since the first beta versions of 7 where available.
The only major problems I have found on windows 7 is to do with crashing when working with scripts.
Windows Vista on the other hand has been very stable (strangely enough)
We have a lot of customers on Vista 64 and quite a few on Win7 64 also, without any issues.
