Drop-Down Calendar Problem
When I create a Drop-Down calendar, the calendar shows the month and a 2 digit year (e.g. August 11). But, I'd prefer a four digit year on the drop down. Any suggestions? Thanks.
This may done in this way
Go to Layout Mode
select the dropdown field
open the inspector and set ur requirment.
Thank you, but I'm not sure you understood my question. I have tried every possible combination of data formatting, including custom. My question isn't about formatting the date in the field, it's about getting the "title" of the calendar itself to read the way I want.
I see 4 digit years on my system. FileMaker 11.3 advanced, Windows Xp.
As an experiment I tried changing the date format on the field to see if it affected the date format in the pop up calendar, but this did not have any effect on the format in the pop up calendar.
It might be tied to Regional OS settings (especially when I see below Today also uses 2-digit). Does it do this if you create a new file?
It DOES occur with a new file, including some created from a template. It isn't anything obvious from the date/time system preferences -- I'm using OSx 10.7.1 (current) and FM Pro Advanced 11.0v4.(also current). I'd like to get some feedback from FM, but I'm not eager to pay $45 for the privilege.
