Email in Rich Text or HTML format

I bought FM Pro as a customer database and have got it up and running now.

When I email a customer from FM pro database (very typical of what a database is used for), it uses my standard MS Outlook email system (so far so good).  But my Outlook company signature doesn't show and the text format looks ugly.  The smart guys at FileMaker have obviously thought about this, given that it is extremely common for any database to be used like this.  But I just can't figure it out.

Can someone please point me in the right direction before I dump FM Pro and buy something a little more usable.
