Email Scripts: attach file from and save PDF to networked folder
I am setting up a small networked installation of a FileMaker Pro database. The network is all Mac. The database is shared using the built in peer-to-peer model.
Some of my email scripts attach a pre-existing PDF file, and some save a record as a PDF file and attach.
I would like all users to access a shared folder on the host machine when the above scripts run. What is best practice for setting this up. Can I use the FileMaker network created by the peer to peer sharing or define a filepath that points to the host computer's shared folder?
